This committee deals with the small devices, getting hands on with hardware hacking, physical projects, and more! Raspberry Pi’s, Arduinos, Soldering Irons, and plenty of programming is seen each time a new project is made! Whether you have been making your own embedded projects for years, or you are new to programming and electronics and want to learn, there is a spot for you here. The only requirement is you want to get hands on with tiny devices and make something new!
This committee is where the large devices live, and all the sys-admins hang out and work on desktop computers to server racks! Hardware and Software Virtualization, RAM and Hard Drives are staples of this club, and if you want to get into the weeds with Linux, Containers, Network Switches and more, then join us, whether you are an expert or beginner.
In the cyber security committee, we do both offensive and defensive security. We will do live demonstrations of different hacking tools. Additionally, we will show students how to hack into things like web servers and personal computers. On top of that we host various competitions and events to help give students relevant experience as well as an opportunity to win prizes.
Girls Who Code is a national organization that operates to peek the interest of Phoenix-native high school girls towards the technology industry.
